David joined Scottish Provident in 1988 as a Trainee Broker Consultant, he qualified as a Broker Consultant within 6 months and became one of Scottish Provident’s youngest Broker Consultants, covering the East Midlands. His career progressed with Friends Provident, Prudential Holborn and Scottish Equitable before qualifying in May 1997 as an Independent Financial Advisor. As an independent Financial Adviser, working for Argent Insurance Brokers before being head hunted by Pearce Murphy Partnership in Leicester City Centre. In 2006, David joined Jason Cross, Chris Bayfield and Derek Barnes, at Throgmorton Asset Management Ltd, as an Investment Adviser, but upon the sale of Throgmorton Asset Management Ltd, he joined Holmes Investments Ltd in 2009 as a director. In 2016, David once again teamed up with Jason, Chris and Derek to buy out Tom Holmes of Holmes Investments Ltd.

David holds the Diploma for Financial Planning and advises on all aspects of financial advice, particularly planning for clients soon to retire or already in retirement.

David lives in Melton Mowbray, with his partner, Linda and his three children. He enjoys the outdoors, walking his dogs and sea kayaking at the weekends.
